1. I have Thoughts on Revenge percolating through my brains, but I will spare everyone until tomorrow (I do not wish to become That Person What Spams)

3. I wrote Kara/Sam fic for the athon.It was a The Mummy crossover. It can be found here

4. Watched the pilot to Person of Interest, and it was highly cheesy in a "The Pretender called" way. Shall probably watch the rest soonish. (tbf, I think Revenge owes a great deal to TP, too)

I have a deep love for revenge narratives that goes as far back as I can remember. I have no idea if I love "Revenge" as much as I do because it has multiple awesome women who are pretty damn hardcore or because it's all about women and REVENGE. I know several people who stopped watching because they find Emily/Amanda too cold and unlikable, but I have to say that that's a huge part of women in revenge narratives for me: that they're allowed to be flawed and the narrative still wants me to like them, and I really, really appreciate how sympathetically they're portraying Victoria, too. Sigh. *loves*

HOW CAN THEY FIND HER COLD AND UNLIKABLE? I mean, ok, yes, she doesn't care who gets hurt--but she's still that little girl who watched her father get destroyed.

I generally want to draw sparkly hearts all over Emily/Amanda.

Every time I watch PofI I think of the opening lines to The Pretender. Heh. So yeah, that connection is fairly obvious.
