Once I hold on...
My subconscious is completely bonkers. For some reason, I spent the last four hours of my sleep dreaming about ghosts, ghost-hunters, and Marya. I'm fairly sure it was Marya, anyway. She was her normal "I can save the day, honest!" self, and, well, so terribly self-sacrifiving.
I don't know where the haunted gas station came from, though. OR the rather young Wynona Ryder who was there with some woman who was her mother.
There was a motel in there, too. But it was around a set of pumps that everyone huddled (and, for some reason, the pumps were surrounded by doors and glass.).
Catacombs contained the ghosts, but they could also come out and slither around people. Except that they couldn't pass the glass.
Sort of like vampires, I think.
And they killed people.
Marya also came prepared, with a modernised proton accelerator, and a trap. It was a very interesting trap, since it held a hell of a lot more than it should have...
There was an older man who helped her--they hadn't known each other, but he seemed to be one of those ex-cons with a heart of gold types.
I'd like to say I knew where this all came from, but I don't.
The book I finished before bed was 'For the Sake of Elena' by Elizabeth George. I didn't read anything online, I merely chatted, and killed spam.
Oh well. Maybe I'll use it for a later Marya chapter, or something.
In other news, I have Lucky Charms.
