Sometimes, I confuse myself
This is all Kara/Sam from BSG stuff. *handwaves*
In the category of "things that are unexpectedly hot", I give you exhibit a:

srsly.
LOOK HOW SHE'S LEANING UP AGAINST HIS NAKED LEGS. unf. (I don't even know why--'cause, like, it's Ties That Bind, and that's the post-sex "let's be disconnected emotionally from each other" bit, so it shouldn't be hot).
But it is.
Maybe it's the hairyness of his leg.

They're just...Kara and Sam. And she does shit like grab his waste in the middle of a crises and leans against his legs after sex even when they're in a weird place and talks to him about her shitty past and it's no big thang 'cause that's just who they are.

Although to me, it's both intimate and distant -- she's not against his chest or alongside him, she's farther and facing away. She's being open and honest with him at that moment, but separate from him. Plus Sam's got his knee between them, which could be a symbolic barrier because he's still protecting himself. Anyway, it's good direction if sorta sad-face-making for the otp.

I do think she is sitting on his other foot.

This is very true. *happy* There are so screwed-up, but ridiculous at the same time.

It is, exactly that, though--distant and still intimate, and also weird and screwy and such-like. (why do I obsess over them so? sigh)

The hottest part of the picture for me is the way their clothes are all scattered everywhere. And the paint is gone. THEY MOVED THE PAINT BEFORE TEARING EACH OTHER'S CLOTHES OFF. *FLAILING*
QUOTED FOR TRUTH. That remains one of the best thing about the staging of the scene, for me.
(and oh, Kara, with her need never to be seen to connect. siiigh)
