1. I've noticed a definite trend of pickiness in re-listening to the BF audios. Like that I don't really feel any urge to listen to the Charley and C'Rizz stuff. Nor to most of Charley's Eight run (except my beloved Sword of Orion, obvs, and the crack one). Ditto all of the Depressing Evelyn ones. MEL IS AWESOME, bar NONE. Ace, Hex and Seven = <3 as long as it's not the boring ones. Ace and Benny are my favorites.

2. Night Thoughts is pretty much the creepiest thing in the history of EVER, even a third time through (and required applications of Leverage afterwards). Bang-Bang-A-Boom is still hilarious the sixth time through.

3. Speaking of Leverage, I find it hilarious to know that Gina Bellman did actually hit Tim Hutton with the cookie sheet that one time in season two. (I like the commentaries)

4. I do not know why there was snow today. Snow sucks.

5. btw, Sally from Third Rock From the Sun is so awesome, I can't even.

I wound up figuring out that Charley is the main reason why I dislike listening to the Doc8/Charley stories. Still not entirely sure why. Maybe India's voice hits me wrong or something. I really wanted to like C'rizzz, but the fact that he was in stories with Charley has made it difficult.

Doc7/Ace/Hex are some of my favorites, fer sure. I've also really liked the Doc5/Tegan/Nyssa/Turlough stories and am looking forward to the next batch. Usually Nyssa does nothing for me, but I found I enjoyed the Red Lodge collection. Go figure.

I really wish they'd do more stories with Mel. Doc7 or Doc6, I don't mind.

On the walk home from work the other day, I was pondering my "must buy" criteria for Big Fish. Doc7 and/or Benny - all will be purchased. Turlough - all will be purchased. Tegan - ditto. Peri - most will be purchased. (Can't recall if I have all of the Erimem ones or not.) Jamie - most will be purchased. (Fraser as Doc2 = win!) Mel - all will be purchased. Doc8 - you'll have to come up with some compelling reason for me to buy him... (Poor McGann!)

I'm hoping the threesome after the next Doc5/Tegan/Turlough batch is Doc7 stuff so I can do a 6 month sub.

Awww. I don't think that was the one that got me. It was, uhm, I don't remember, but it was one I listened to, recently. And Torchwood routinely makes me sniffle (as does Foyle's War, omg)

I actually really like Charley, I just don't really care about the OMG ANTI TIME AND GALLY nonsense (and, erm, a lot of her stories are sort of bleh). Outside of the hilarity of Zagreus, at least. Also, Eight is.... not my Doctor, as nice as he is.

I would kill for more Mel stories, as I sort of deeply love what they've done with her, yes.

And I'm so behind on them, that I don't know what I'll buy next.

YES. And... I don't even know how to describe how well they play off of each other--and the Doctor--but they just DO, and it's wonderful, and I know that Benny has her own line, BUT IS NOT THE SAME. sigh.
