Exactly. I'm not going to lie, I like the ship and I really need to dig out the complete series I bought and finished the rest of it. However, even if there was some romantic interest on both parts (which, to me, made for a more interesting dynamic), Sam clearly didn't pine for Jack and it didn't ruin her as a character.
