I... have coffee....
Brownie, from what I can tell, spent most of the day curled up on MY bed. New territory for him, but he seems happy there.
I got some of my room cleaned, yay. And sorted through some cassettes. I need about thirty blank plastic cassette cases, so I can refurnish the old ones. Er. Refurbish. Plus, there are a lot without cases, because they've broken over the years.
Would that I could find the CD case to MacLachlan's Surfacing. Sigh.
Had a mid-term in VB tonight. I get most of the project finished, and hit the wrong combination of keys... See, these are dual-purpose machines. So, the keyboard froze up. So did the mouse.
Panic.
Tried the disk in another computer. No luck.
Finally, through god knows what luck, I got the keyboard working again. There were other problems. Fixed them.
Deleted something without checking.
Spent ten minutes cursing at myself.
With forty minutes left to go, had to redo the project from the ground up.
And locked the keyboard again when I was halfway through.
Not being stupid, I went up and looked very pathetically at my professor. He fixed it.
I finished, turned in the disk.... And I know it's wrong. I'm still not able to do something right. Fucking open statements.
Was completely worn out, so I went and bought myself coffee. Mmm. It's Shell coffee, but I shall live.
Now, if there was just decent food in the house.
