I miss Ianto.
And not the character, either. The mp3 player. He was such a trooper, even if I did go through AAA batteries like a ridiculous amount. But last year at my parents', something happened to my wee musicbox.
So, I broke out the new mp3 player I'd bought and named it Bridget.
I killed Bridget almost six months ago, as she has an internal battery. I think it was the Big Finish audios that did it. sigh.
Now I'm stuck with antiquated technology.
*sulks*
Also, it is cold. And probably icy out there.
eta: also,
bluediamond421 was lamenting that you couldn't have a Warehouse 13/Sanctuary crossover. Because of Tesla, I think. I don't remember now. But, mainly, it led to me saying "Of course you could, you'd just have to appeal to his ego" which led to the following:
"I wouldn't have considered you one for American patriotism," Helen said, her tone amused.
Tesla grinned, "They offered me a great deal of money and told me how wonderful I was. How could I resist?" His grin lessened, "Then they tried to bronze me once my intentions became apparent, so I might hold a little grudge. Why do you ask?"
"I've received a message from a Mrs. Frederick asking us both, rather cordially, to attend her at the embassy." The look Helen leveled at Tesla wasn't full of raised eyebrows, but the slight tilt to her head indicated the same. "I think we should go."
"Hrm. Mrs. Frederick." Tesla sucked in a breath, then shook his head. "After my time. I wonder if they have any good wine at the embassy?"
er, or something like that.
