in other news

1. Nikita this week had surprise!Jon Gries. I feel as though this was a strange future AU where the Centre was destroyed and Broots lost Debbie (perhaps to terrorists or something), and Miss P. and Syd were off elsewhere. So, Broots was working for an evil black ops group and basically a hermit and stuff. Poor Brootsy. (also, Jaden = a little naive, but continuing to have a plot, yay)

2. There is white stuff on the ground out there. Puts a serious crimp into my plans to do laundry and walk to CVS for cookies or whatever.

3. When I wasn't watching Chase, I was listening to Florence + that Pati Yang song + Bjork. Then I tried to write fic. I'm not sure it went very well.

4. There is a crack!post at the River Song community. <3

5. I decided to put up a stocking at fandom_stocking this year.

6. My feet are cold, bah.

7. Dear mailperson, did a Netflix disc run over your dog? That's the only reason I can imagine for the way you recklessly cram then into our box. Our old mailperson had no trouble getting them in. Even when there were six Netflix discs and two blockbuster ones. Really surprised none of the discs are broken, me.

8. No, self, you cannot watch Poirot until you've done other things.

1. My reaction was all about Broots!flail. I miss him on my tv.

Where is the Alex/Jaden fic hiding? Their hate!sex would be epic. I wish Jaden could get a little more dimensions to her personality though.

He appeared and I went "NO WAY" and actually WENT BACK to read the guest credits (since I usually ignore them), to see if it WAS him. Then I made squeaky noises and tried to explain why it made me so giggly.

And failed.

Sadly, the fandom doesn't seem to produce much. It's hard for her to have dimension when she has five lines every three episodes.

I had the same issue with my latest Netflix disc. I don't know how the disc wasn't cracked with the way it was shoved in. But I blame my roommates who never get the mail so our tiny box fills up really quickly (with mail that belongs to about 15 tenants who no longer live in our apartment anymore).

sadly, we do get our mail, so that isn't the problem. My guess is that it takes an extra minute to fold them and slide them down in diagonally? I don't know (though they've been slid in non-diagonally and also been fine).

It's just. They're shoved in and the envelopes are all ripped up and there's no point to it.

I'm just glad there wasn't any dialogue because I probably would've missed it. Best surprise guest star ever. At least for right now.

The fandom is very lacking. I found a few comms, but they're mainly focused on icon making and Nikita/Michael. Not that I'm against Nikita/Michael, but I rather want Alex fic.

Edit: I mean Alex has the canon backstory most fandoms dream of for their woobies. And she's not a woobie! I love her so much.

This is what I thought to, although maybe not in such detail. My first thought actually was 'Broots, you should've known better then to once again work for shadowy organization'

Here too and I also didn't do laundry because of it :)

I have The Pretender on the brain a bit, so. More detail in my brains.

I did manage to do laundry, though. Since, well, once it was done coming down, there wasn't a reason not to. also, out of certain essentials.

Our substitute mailman does that with our netflix, too, but he's a well established douchebag who hates his job and is always muttering about how he's gonna show 'em.
