sff: Fringe

er, spoilers for tonight's episode.

OMG.

OMG.

You guys. I would watch an entire series that was nothing but film noir!Fringe. FOR SERIOUS, YOU GUYS.

That was fanfic on my tv, but the good kind, with massive doses of crack and awesome and Olivia punching people in noir-detective-straight-arm style. OMG. And she was swaggering and so so hot in that suit.

I DEMAND FIC.

Also, Astrid/Olivia, was so happening in that one scene--THE DIALOGUE, OMG. (and the earlier bit with Broyles? Yeah, I've never shipped Olivia/Broyles, but when he was all, "I can lock you up" and there was tension.... so so. um, yes)

Seriously. The show could get stuck in Noir-land (with cell phones and laptops!) forever, and it would be awesome.

Also, I want Olivia Dunham/Archie Goodwin fic. With Walter vs. Nero.

BUT, OH, WALTER. The things you think of yourself. :/

Also, hurray for Olivia's family still existing.

The only 'complaint' I had about this episode was that it needed more singing 'cause the little we got was awesome! Other than that, I thought it was spectacular! And Astrid/Olivia...I saw it a few times throughout the series but in this episode, how could you deny it?!

I AGREE. I want more! And my other half and I totally SQUEEEEEED over the Astrid/Olivia-ness.

THis was like, a gigantic awesome amount of fan service IN THE GOOD WAY.

I was good at the lack of singing. I don't think they could have done a good episode with lots of singing. That's one of the things I was worried about.

But it was awesome and silly and tongue in cheek.

I was not looking forward the singing--whether they could sing or not, I was a bit, um, worried that it would be cheesy. Instead, it was mostly ok and fit.

Astrid and her medical kit of dooom. Mwahahah.
