I agree. Alice would have been more interesting if they had beefed up the weirdness and hadn't waffled on her portrayal. Was she damsel in distress or was she out to save her boyfriend, even though she had practically dumped him when he was all "here's my family's ring". I wonder: Were they afraid of being compared to Tim Burton's version?

And it was very empty. Couldn't they have employed more extras for a few days? Or at least tossed in a few lines about how people fled to the outer reaches of Wonderland if they weren't hiding out in the city? Or that they were all high in their crappy homes in the city?

I also agree with Charlie's skeleton army--it shouldn't have worked, unless again, someone had said, "Well the Suits are kept docile and unthinking so this trick should work."

I'm still not happy with the whole time between worlds thing. And while I the "love triangle" between Jack and Alice and Hatter was kinda men, I do like Alice/Hatter too.

So far, I'm finding that once again fanfic is doing a better job of filling in gaps and fixing what the writers couldn't be bothered with.
