1. I think I offended the optometrist we regularly see at LC when I asked for a referral to an Ophthalmologist. Oops. 's all good, though. She poked my eye, mocked the litany of prescriptions and gave me some tears. Eye isn't 100%, but the scratch is healed.

2. There is going to be a Kara ficathon at starbuck_lives er, sorry, karathracelives (speaking of, maybe we should contacct the mods of the defunct comms and have them killed? They're sort of redundant and pointless now).

3. OH GOD WORK. It was so long. And I can't really see anymore, but I suppose it is worth it. To pay medical bills and such.

4. It's weird being in a place where it's cold. St. Louis was so... overly warm and sticky. Not that I miss it.

5. I HAVE FUZZY SLIPPERS. Much better. Contrarily, I also have a cherry freezie-pop.

6. Shit. Have I mentioned that I LOVE BEING HOME? Because I do. Even if I can't see so well. And now have grease from the stovetop on my fingers. damn.

7. Note to self: Quin is out of food, please try not to forget this on your way home tomorrow.

eta: 8. OH GOD I am reminded ,AND OW STUPID WHITE UPDATING BACKGROUND---anyone who spoils me for Torchwood will be beaten soundly. Yes, I've been half-spoiled for series two, but if I CAN BE FUCKING KIND and not spoil people for SEASON ONE FARSCAPE....

1. I didn't press it when she said she'd look herself. And to be honest, I've been sort of feeling, um, over-managed with the eye. (I mentioned to Times that the eye doc was young and had just opened his practice, and she went, "THAT EXPLAINS SO MUCH." so.)

Also, the original eye doc said if they were comfy at LC doing it, that should be fine.
