...I sort of find the entire cast of the new Star Trek movie fugly. It inhibits any desire I have to read fic with them, too. Sigh.

(unless I'm writing cracky crossovers or genderswaps in my head, but that's different)

In other news, it was warmer in Milwaukee today than it was in Florida. HAHAHAH.

I may have a bit of a thing for new!Bones and jailbait Chekov. But I'm mainly just relieved that ZQ doesn't make me want to toss my cookies as Spock like he did as Sylar. (In a good way, as Sylar, but still.)

I've not seen the movie yet, but I have to say that the cast pictures I've seen do nothing for me. In fact, they mostly make me think, "Oh my God, I'm ooooold! And that depresses me so I run away."

I never really watched for Kirk anyway. He was too much of a narcissist. I like Spock. Always have. Of course my favorite is and always will be Picard. Now there's a man. ;-)

*puzzled* I wear my long hair in a ponytail and my job is far more physically active than sitting at a comm panel. I'm sorry, but it's tied back and out of the way. It's a feeble reason to pick.

But I do agree that the remainder of the cast are downright funny looking, but perhaps that's why they were cast; they had faces with character.
