I've always thought it so weird that wingfic sprouted (pun intended) as a sort of fanfic cliche. It's so odd. That being said, this was a cool and interesting story--and strangely plausible. Poor Sammy! Though to be honest, he's gonna handle it better than a lot of other characters on the show.
