Can I get a do-over on saturday?

It hasn't been like a crappy day, but...

1. Was going to go vote, and [livejournal.com profile] dlly is coming over, so there wasn't time.
2. Laundry? hahahah. no.
3. I have 3,400 words to edit from present to past tense (there's no sense in alienating my audience from the outset after all). About 500 are done.

4. Whole Foods has discontinued making its bleu cheese walnut bread. =( =( =( It's because walnuts are expensive and they're making pumpkin walnut bread now. I must have looked suitably devastated, as the baker reassured me it was a popular bread and would probably be back (actually, he said, he'd probably be making it again).

On the plus side:
1. Whole Foods run included truffle-buying.
2. Got my Obama bumper sticker in the mail.

I had a list as long as my arm of stuff I had to get done before 6, when I head out for a belated costume party. So far I've done one (1) thing, which was... putting together a costume. I mean, it's a good costume, but fail, Allie, fail.

And I'm sad about your bleu cheese walnut bread even having never had any - it sounds so good. :/ And pumpkin walnut is just... ordinary. :P

Whoot! Yay for costumes! I feel your pain, though. Sigh.

It is very very tasty bread.
