more thoughts on BSG...
The following are thoughts caused by season four, Resistance, Scar, Downloaded and Lay Down Your Burdens 1&2
1. Gaius in HTBiM = less creepy with no visuals. There's just something odd about how the dialog, minus the image of him slowly seducing an innocent young woman doesn't seem sleazy. It's... not exactly heartfelt, but there's the obvious disgust in his voice and uncertainty on top of it.
2. Conversely, however, it's even more creepy when he tells Tyrol that he would have liked to've known Cally better. (wtf)
3. Oh, man. Tigh vs. Tyrol re: his Cylonhood is fucking hilarious in retrospect. HEY CHIEF. GUESS WHAT.
4. It was totally the coffee being kept that made Tigh send troops after the ships refusing to resupply Galactica.
5. "You're a machine, I'm not." BWAHAHAHAH. Man. Comedy f'in gold. (poor Sharon. What she must think, now--or would, if, y'know, Boomer were still about.)
6. As much as I like Ellen/Saul, I do not want Kara/Sam = Ellen/Saul. :/
7. Sharon says there are eight Cylons left in the fleet. At the time she says it, we can assume four Final Fivers (minus Sam, otherwise five), D'Anna, Cavil, Boomer herself and...? Of course, if Boomer isn't counting herself, that's still two loose. Maybe there's another D, Doral, Cavil, Leoben, Simon, Six or Eight around?
8. 53 left from over 100. Ouch. And Pilgrim Bay is the hospital they raided for radiation stores (hah. Fic notes).
9. OH BILLY. Srsly. Every so often, I forget him and then I get side-swiped. *sniffle*
10. How many resistances has Gaeta been instrumental in not crushing? He could have told on Dee with the off-logged calls and such, he didn't. Did he see her as the lesser evil (I wonder if he knows Dee helped Tigh fix the vote later on?)
11. Racetrack was involved in Roslin's escape--why'd she do it? Did she think Tigh was frakking everything up? Loyalty to Lee? Some sort of wierd Pilot thing? Or was it that she thought Roslin should be free/is religious enough to believe in the Road to Earth.
13. Duck hit the clock, his first time! HAHAHAH. OH DUCK. <3
14. No, Lee, Kara is not OK. Her boyfriend is maybe dead and she's a bit hung up on that.
15. AUGH. My boy going boom.
16. Caprica <3 "You can stay and be tortured if you want--your call."
17. Poor Boomer. New Caprica was a tailspin for her, especially with her only friend too focused on her own pain--Caprica discovering Gaius wasn't the one in her head and having to confront that reality must have swallowed her time. :(
18. Cavil telling Chief he's screwed up: Did he know the FF even then? (combining two other points) 21. No, really, Cavil totes knows Chief is a Cylon. 25. Cavil frakked with Tyrol, Tigh, Anders and Tory, at one time or another. WTF.
19. Lee is like, "OMG, don't find him! Noes!" but then lies. Hahahahah.
20. Helo talked Sharon into helping Kara. Heh. But I still want to know how Kara came to trust her, because it was before that, otherwise she wouldn't have nudged Helo into it.
22. Skulls, stop calling Ractrack Skipper. Also, 'Track is adorable--honey, planets come about when a sun and a moon...
23. People vote with their hopes and not their fears? HAHAHAHAHAH. Ron, your allegory broke, there. Tory is so fucking wrong.
24. My otp has a mutual suicide pact. Heee.
26. I <3 that there is a code for Cylons! Code Blue = LOVE.
27. "You are a hot little thing, but you know that, right?" "Thank you." -- Guh. Not to be listened to at work... Also, "Is that all I am to you?" Oh, Kara, you don't know how to deal with being happy and in love. Does it remind you of Zak?
