1. I like Rose Tyler. I know, I know, this surprises a lot of people. But, see, the Rose in my head bears little resemblance to what large portions of fandom claim about her, and possibly what large portions of (painful) canon do, too.

2. I'm so fucking happy Atlantis was canceled. I cheered. Then did a little dance with the cat. Now, if only they'd dump the idea of a new (male-dominated, and white, obvs) series. Or go write soap operas (wait! They'd have to write women with large roles and layers... never mind, wouldn't work).

3. I'm one of those Fandom Feminists who spoils your squee.

4. I discovered this tonight. I, like, theoretically enjoy Kara/Sam/Leoben? But on a practical, reading fic not written by me level? Can't stand it.

5. I still can't work up the energy to reply to comments on the Caprica/Tigh ficlet I wrote. I probably won't. This is new for me, I used to always reply to feedback.

6. I GET A MINION TOMORROW. I hope I do not call her that.

2) I may have smirked a little at that. Maybe more than a little. Maybe a lot. Though ideally I wish the show would have stayed on the air, the writing staff would have seen the light and fixed the mess they made.

Plus she and Martha met in the alternate universe and are best friends saving the world together. (I don't care if canon does or doesn't say differently. That's what I think is happening.)
