On a mellower note...

Not sure if I mentioned it, but the VCR idea worked. I can hook up the one from home to the cable at work and run it out to the tv at the desk. Happyme.

I can watch anything, and tape stuff, tooooo. ;)

Chee.

I watched 5 episodes of Doctor Who last night. Was kind of fun, kind of overwhelming... All that storyline at once...

Noticed something interesting, though... They could just be a tired mind reading into things, but... There were a few Douglas Adams/Hitchiker's Guide references. Unfortunately, I only wrote down one.

But, the episodes I watched were... Fifth Doc: "Kinda" and "The Visitation". Visitation had a few comments that made me go, "Ford?". Kinda had one, but I can't recall it.

Seventh Doc: "Silver Nemesis", "Greatest Show in the Galaxy" and "Ghost Light"... Ghost Light had the Doctor saying, "Who was it that said mankind never invites their ancestors to sit down to dinner with them?" Which is a direct commentary on a line in the Guide about how Humans never invite their ancestors to sit down to dinner with them...

*chuckle*

I have Cherry Coke, Crispix, and a Klondike Bar... Mmmm.

Went to see my nephew last night. He is SUCH a cutie. And my brother is scary as a dad. He's like, so into it... And he's apparently very like BOTH Dads in regards to how he acts. My brother's in-laws were there, and the two moms were watching Gabe, and talking about it.

*snicker* These are the same two dads who showed up to the Vows ceremony in the same exact suit and shoes, right down to the glasses in their white shirt pockets. ;)

My brother is almost living in Yuppieville. Luckily, it's Affton, which is slightly less expensive...

Saw Pitch Black a few days ago. Still not sure if it was a great movie or not. It sucked me in and kept ME interesting, so it was at least mildly entertaining.

Wasn't, say, Alien... But what is?

Otoh, I was more fascinated by some parts of it than I was by bits of Gladiator.

Also saw a movie called The Court Jester. Was an utter scream. Dialogue that was silly in the extreme. Nicely timed comedy. Sigh. Why can't films today be like this?

I tried NOT watching The Court Jester, but it was silly and intriguing enough that I kept going back. Eh. I'm a sucker for witty dialogue.

Anyway. Should probably eat my Crispix and vanilla ice cream... I already ate the chocolate shell. Yum.

Oh. One last thing. They STILL DON'T HAVE a 'groovy' mood choice. Feh.
