*stares out into the glaring light... stuff... *
Apparently, that whole snow thing wasn't a nightmare. Sigh. It's real.
It's a bright, sunshiny day, and I'm wondering how to shoot the sun down so I can stop being blinded every time I glance at a window. I'm so glad my roommate called in. I don't think trying to get my car out would have been conducive to anything except making me cranky.
hrm. Possibly, I should put some pants on if I want to continue to be up. It's a mite chilly.

Today, we make the drive into Clayton to parentals and again, flurries. We are having like mini-blizzards. It snows really hard for a few minutes, blowing sideways and all that, then it dies down to like nothing. It was interesting watching people try to play tennis in the freezing temps today over at Shaw Park which is literally across the street from parentals' building. I was glad I made the Evil One drive - he's got better reaction skills than me in case people do stupid stuff on the highway.
Water is quickly receding in Valley Park now - you can actually see more of 141 where as hours earlier it was a lake almost up to I-44.
I'm ready for spring to arrive & stay. No more of these teasing days, then shit weather the following weekend. (Of course, I will be in Memphis for Midsouth Con next weekend, so it can rain in STL & I won't worry! :-p)
