You know what the worst thing about this job is? I come home and I have no creative energy left to do anything. It takes until fucking nine o'clock for me to actually feel like I'm intelligent enough to get any writing done. And then I have three hours (maybe) to write.
I'm just so goddamned frustrated. I have piles of loose notes (not to mention an entire fucking steno book full) with scenes for unfinished fic, and I can't get a damned thing finished because I come home exhausted.
And it's not writer's block. I've had that, and it's a different feeling entirely. This is more... writer's floodplain, complete with overfilled sandbags that got drowned.
