So...

Was watchin' Angel last night. And, it occurred to me to wonder: Do all dogs go to heaven?

Actually.

Never mind.

I think I'll mock Andromeda, first.

Caught the episode on Sunday. It is now officially the Dylan Hunt Show. Idiots. Ensemble shows are much more intriguing. But, hey, if he wants to continually restate his mission every fricking episode, fine by me.

Technically, I did only catch about ten minutes of it. But I saw enough to decide something. This was the Terminal episode of Andromeda.

I've been comparing it to Blake's 7 for months now. This one confirms it. Ship getting eaten by weird alien crap? check (Terminal did actually destroy the Liberator). Ship led by messiah-type, who isn't there? check (Avon was searching for Blake/Dylan was off gadding). Cold-hearted character with a side of gold in his silver lining? check (Avon. Tyr. You draw the obvious parallels).

But. Angel.

What can I say? I'm impressed. The writers are reading the Mary Sue handbook. Uh, yeah. Cordy shines brightly in the dark of night, AND, she can flip a breaker switch back on.

Her hair still needs to go. The tribble must die.

Oh, and the Fred/Gunn Wesley discussion? Isn't this the SAME EXACT ONE they had LAST TIME???

It was like being in the twilight zone.

God, I hope Connor kills his dad.

This season was so good--up until Connor arrived (I count Darla's sacrifice as a Good Thing. 'Twas cool.). Then it got mired in stupidity. And Holtz. Ugh. Holtz gives me hives.

Anyway. The plot.... Wait. There was a plot? I must've missed it in the Conspiracy episode of Next Generation alien invasion.

Whatever.
