Wait, why do they hate her? We haven't even met her yet. People are so weird.

Has Jewel been on SGA long? I don't follow the show, so I had no idea she was on it until I saw some recent con pictures and she was there with the rest of the SGA cast. If I had know she was on the show, I would've made an effort to watch it. Hmm.

Because she's a new character who is taking the role from their beloved Carson? I figure it's mostly because she's a chick.

Nah. She was only in the last episode of the previous season, and she'll be in the episodes of this season. Don't know how regular a cast member she is, though.
