So, you wanna have some more comics....

Here's the deal. I had a box of doubles and comics that I'd never bothered going through. I have now (I also, incidentally, sorted my kept comics. Not neatly, but. Eh...) got a list of comics I plan on getting rid of.

One plan is to hand them over to a friend for the charity auction at NTC (box of unknown comics... That sort of thing).

The second is to ask if any of YOU would like any of them. If you do, dibs them. I leave this open for about a week or so.

If you want 'em, I'll either mail them to you in May (cash flow problems), or hand them to you next time I see you. *g*

However, so as not to spam massively...

On a slight tangent...

Hooverphonic? Are they good? I've got a cover of Depeche Mode's Shake The Disease on a tribute compilation and rather liked it. Any recommendations where I should start?

Well...I'd love to ask for, well, the X-Forces and the X-Factors and the West Coast Avengers #101, and many other things, for my comic collection is little and poor, but there's that whole 'it would cost a fortune, probably, to mail them to me'-thing. And the other option is out until I go rob that bank and leave the country and hide out at your place 'til the carebears have gone awau. Or something. *g*

"Jackie Kane" is a good way...that's how I got into them. Check out their website, they have a video of it.

I'd very much like the Sandman, Lyssie ;)

Well, I've found them good. First heard them as backing to one of the murder scenes in I Know What You Did Last Summer...

Um. Inhaler, Lung, 2 Wicky... All good Hooverphonic songs. I'm actually blanking on any others. But. They're a good start. *g*

Certainly. *chuckle*

I shall wrangle details later. When my brain works.

I think I might want the stormwach ones. Just read the ones that were collected, but I think some of the ones you have there (all of them, if the low numbers are vol. 1) aren't in the collections.

I'm going to regret getting even vaguely back into this, aren't I? :-/

Oh hell, I probably want the WildCATS too, don't I....

gr.

As far as posting them is concerned, if you want them out of the house, let me know what the postage is and, if I can manage to not look at ebay long enough, I'll send it... :-)

Yessss... come to the dark side....

And, hey, give me until mid-May (after finals), and I'll be coherent.

Gods willing.

dibs on Xombi 0-5. one of my favorite books *ever*, and I think that would complete my run.

There is a large box that will one day make its way Kossiewards.

Besides, what else am I to use for packing material for the Buffy/Angel tapes? ;)

Love you, dearest. :)

When I do go and rob that bank, and am on the lamb (that's a stupid expression. Lambs are nice and fluffy and innocent)), you'll be my first stop. ;)
