I'm going to be irritating and comment OT in your post because LIKE A DUNDERHEAD I have lost your email address AGAIN. I am defective.
So, here's the thing. HELP! I'm going to really abuse your kindness and ask if you could possibly burn me another copy of RC 1.6. See, the thing is, my copy has a blip. It plays just fine for me, except one quick skip, but it refuses to copy, no matter what method I try (and I've tried everything from a straight copy, to re-encoding it, to importing it into video editing software). That would be no big deal at all, except that I've now promised ELEVEN people copies of the complete series.
Would you mind? If you send me the proper email address, I'll paypal you to cover the cost of the disc & mail, etc. I will also happily smother you with icons and fic if you like!
And it's not even that I want them to be all otp/true love forever. But, damn, there's only so much fic, why does half of it have to be "and they don't really love each other, teehee"? If I want that, I'll go read Kara/Lee fic, which is chock-full of it.
Ack. I have no idea why it doesn't work. Hrm. I shall reburn a copy, using roomie's slower discs. That may be part of it (the 16x were skipping when she'd use them).
