You know what? I don't insult what you like, or complain when you go on and on for post after post about the exact same thing, so how about you show a little common courtesy? You don't have to like it, but you could be polite and keep your mouth shut about it. Sheesh. Why rain on other people's parade?
So the next time you're talking Anders...or Kara?...or whoever it is you post about 10 times a week or so, I should be able to be pissy about it too.
I mean, I go through my FList daily and see 2-3 new posts about them in some way/shape/form. Photos, stories, notions, ponderings, etc. I have no idea who they are, have no interest in learning about them, and should be annoyed that this is all I see all the time...vs. maybe a week with HP.

I'm really not pissed or anything - I actually laughed at your entry because someone eventually had to say something. I'm just wondering why you're so bothered by one day's worth of people being happy-excited when you post in the same way about the things you love all the time.
I skip over probably half of what most of my flist talks about, whenever it's about something I'm not interested in. Everyone has different interests. I just don't get why it's so amazingly difficult to just scroll by whenever the interest du jour is not one of yours. I do it all the freaking time!
Actually, I don't mind it. It's when the last 40 posts on my flist are nothing but HP, drowning out anything else that I get annoyed. I totally get being squeeful.
But if people want me to know they've said something I should see, I'd recommend they tell me. I'm not reading my flist anymore.

Why would I waste money on something that's like every other "Wizard is abused and joins a wixarding school" fantasy novel that's EVER been written. OH WAIT. Because this time, the protagonist is male. My bad.
Hon, I don't even read half your posts anymore because they're all about PKJ, Kara/Anders porn, and things like that. That's what floats your boat, fine. When I start making MY posts demanding that you stop posting about the latest episodes because it is OMGSOLAME! and you're not the teensiest bit put out by that, then we'll talk.

I think you're STILL very brave for visiting the Skiffy boards. I'm a scardey cat. I am buying the book on Wednesday 25th with other books, which will hopefully calm me down. Not reading straight away cos I stubborn that way and the craziness of HP is still kind of kicker wetting. I find lately going to a place where worldwide crazy can't touch me. Trust me it works. *Land of puddings/desserts * Not everyone can get there but it does work. Oh some people just don't do sensible. OK, I seem to be going into the world of stupid now

Lots of people do it about lots of things they love, most people just scroll on by to something else. Just letting you know, it's the same thing entirely.
