FYI, as an imperial junk with an inner deck (allowing it have below deck canons) the Empress would have been 100 feet long and dwarfed the Black Pearl - a mere carrack. I found this absolutely hilarious picture of an imperial junk that was 400 feet long, that the chinese used to sail to america before the europeans. Its four central sails were larger than any european vessel of the time.

I overrunneth with useless nautical facts. (Junks didn't have boons or bow sails and yachts are their modern descendants). See what I mean? Hoist means to lift, heave means to pull. I'll bet you don't know what yaw means....
